We collect no personal data

SimplyCleanRecipes does not collect, store, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no cookies, and no tracking.

Local storage only

Your saved recipes and preferences are stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB and localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

Recipe extraction

When you paste a URL, our server fetches the page to extract the recipe. We process the HTML to find recipe content and then discard it. We do not store the URLs you submit or the content of the pages we fetch.

License keys

Pro license keys are stored locally in your browser. We do not store them on our servers.

Third-party payments

Pro purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy. Please refer to their privacy policy for information on how they handle payment data.

Chrome Extension Privacy

The SimplyCleanRecipes Chrome Extension is designed with privacy first:

• • Only activates when you click the extension icon or use the right-click menu
• • Reads recipe structured data (JSON-LD) from the current page only
• • Does NOT access browsing history, bookmarks, passwords, or other personal data
• • Does NOT collect, store, or transmit any data to our servers
• • Does NOT track your browsing activity
• • All recipe extraction happens locally in your browser
• • The only network request is opening a new tab to simplyCleanRecipes.app with the recipe data in the URL
